The recipe for Polenta fries / Funchi Fries:
1 kilo of polenta
2 liters of water
1 tablespoons of salt
1 tablespoons of butter
Bring two liters of water to the boil with the salt. Add the polenta to this. Boil the polenta. When cooked, stir in the butter and transfer the mixture to a ramekin to allow it to set in the refrigerator.
When cold, cut the polenta to the desired thickness and deep-fry the polenta until golden brown.
